Executing Impact at Scale: A Four-Week Fundraiser That Reached 18,000 and Beyond

In the world of large-scale event production, success is rarely accidental—especially when timelines are compressed and expectations are global. A recent international Caribbean fundraiser proved exactly that, delivering extraordinary results through strategic coordination, trusted partnerships, and disciplined project management.

The event attracted an estimated 18,000 attendees, raised thousands of dollars in monetary funds, and featured over 20 international Caribbean artists, making it a powerful cultural and philanthropic success. More than a live experience, the fundraiser reached global audiences through YouTube Live and Amazon Live, expanding its impact well beyond the physical venue.

Planning and Production in Just Four Weeks

What set this event apart was its four-week planning and execution window—a timeline that would challenge even the most seasoned teams. The event was produced by the Irie Jam Foundation, alongside three New York–based media powerhouses:

  • Irie Jam Radio

  • Jammin Events

  • Road Block Radio

Together, these organizations aligned creative vision, marketing reach, and production execution under intense time constraints—demonstrating the power of focused collaboration.

DoME’s Strategic Role: Workflow, Talent, and Onsite Execution

The Division of Marketing and Events (DoME) played a critical leadership role behind the scenes. DoME was responsible for:

  • Providing strategic guidance on workflow across multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Coordinating all talent logistics, including scheduling, movement, and performance readiness

  • Managing onsite operations, ensuring seamless execution from artist arrival through live production

By overseeing cross-team workflows and talent operations, DoME helped transform complex moving parts into a cohesive, well-orchestrated experience—allowing creative teams, artists, and partners to perform at their best.

Institutional and Cultural Support

The fundraiser was further strengthened by the support of several New York government officials, underscoring its civic importance and community impact. International cultural leadership was represented by Jamaica’s Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports, Hon. Olivia “Babsy” Grange, whose involvement elevated the event’s global and cultural significance.

A Model for High-Pressure, High-Impact Events

This event stands as a blueprint for executing large-scale fundraisers under tight deadlines—where strategic project management, clear workflows, and expert onsite leadership make the difference between ambition and achievement.

For DoME, this fundraiser reinforces its capacity to lead complex event operations, manage international talent, and guide multi-organization teams toward successful outcomes—positioning the firm as a trusted partner for national and international events alike.
